Recent Update

Founded in 2024, Just Transition Indonesia responds to global climate crises, deepening inequality, and the lack of support for those navigating these challenges. In Just Transition Indonesia, we dedicate our works to uplifting the voices and experiences of those marginalized by development transitions and difficult political circumstances.
We strive to co-create an enabling environment for just transition with disadvantaged communities impacted by systemic changes in a rapidly changing world. Our holistic, community-centered approach integrates environmental, social, and humanitarian considerations to create a sustainable development model that is relevant and contextual. We support the most vulnerable, including ethnic minorities, adat communities, refugees and asylum seekers, people with different abilities, and women, and enable community-need-driven transition that is just and care-focused.
In uncertain times, we must stand together as a light in the darkness, illuminating the path towards a future defined by justice, inclusion, and limitless hopes. A nation that supports the dreams of its people without fear sets the foundation for compassion, creativity, and equity, fostering a society where all can thrive.
Join us in empowering individuals and communities for a brighter tomorrow.
